No. That's the main difference from a fleece blanket hoodie. Polyester fleece traps heat and moisture together, which is why it turns hot and clammy within an hour. Here the brushed backing still holds warm air against you, but the bamboo viscose face lets heat and moisture pass through. Your temperature settles instead of climbing.

Three things. The fabric absorbs moisture instead of leaving sweat sitting on your skin. It has 4-way stretch, so you can reach, type and move without pulling it off. And it's wearable year-round rather than in winter only.

One honest caveat: a thick sherpa fleece hoodie will still be the warmer of the two in a genuinely freezing room. This one is built to be wearable all day, not to be the single warmest thing you own.

It's cut as an oversized blanket hoodie, so it's designed for home first. That said, the stretch and the breathability mean you can keep it on for the school run, the dog walk or the drive to work without having to peel it off the moment you warm up.

There's one size for adults and one size for kids, both cut oversized on purpose. Exact measurements are in the size chart on this page. Because the fabric has 4-way stretch, the fit is far more forgiving than a woven fleece hoodie in the same measurements.

Machine washable. Cold water, gentle cycle, a small amount of mild detergent with no optical brighteners, and wash it with other soft fabrics rather than with denim or towels.

We don't recommend the dryer. Hang it or lay it flat to dry. Pointing a fan at it indoors cuts the drying time noticeably.

Bamboo viscose is a fine fibre, so it can pill where it rubs repeatedly against something rough: a bag strap, a seatbelt, a coarse couch fabric. Washing cold on a gentle cycle with other soft fabrics and hanging to dry keeps it to a minimum. Pilling doesn't affect the warmth or the softness.
